Centre for General Studies

The Center for General Studies provides academic advising for students who are interested in entering the Bachelor of General Studies Degree at UFV. The General Studies Advisor provides important information and tools for General Studies student success.

Academic Advising includes

• Providing information for prospective Bachelor of General Studies students.

• Individual appointments to advise current students at the Abbotsford and Chilliwack campuses.
   

• Evaluating program requirements for students as well as advice on future course selection.

• Providing students with progress assessments.

• Evaluating transfer credit in relation to the General Studies degree.

• Advising for graduation procedures for general studies diploma and degree students.

• Providing letters of support, reference or confirmation of graduation.

• Proving information, resources and support for students in academic difficulty.

General Studies Advising is available at the Abbotsford campus weekly, and monthly on the Chilliwack campus.
