What is the role of a mentor?
Domestic and returning international students can apply to be a Mentor. Mentors will play a leadership role in the Friends Without Borders (FWB) program. Mentors will assist in establishing communication prior to arrival with new international students including sending the FWB application, so new students can apply to be Friends and be matched before they arrive. Mentors will be matched with four or more Friends to provide assistance, guidance, and support in the new cultural interactions between Friends.
