Blackboard Learn Introductory Workshop & Lab - Michelle Johnson
This workshop will provide you with an overview of Blackboard Learn. Topics include: how to navigate Blackboard, how to personalize your course, and how to use Blackboard tools to add and organize course content. We will discuss design issues and best practices for online courses.
Lab: The last half hour of this workshop is an optional hands-on lab for course development. ETS/Online staff will be available to answer questions and assist you with your individual Blackboard course shells.
Note: You may wish to bring a digital photo or avatar of yourself to create a welcome message during the workshop. You may also wish to bring a course syllabus, or other course content to upload.

Blackboard Learn Full Grade Centre - Gordon Jang
This advanced workshop will provide an overview of the tools available to help manage and organize the Blackboard Learn Full Grade Centre. We will look at the basics for faculty wanting to use the Grade Centre to provide grades and feedback to students. This workshop is also for faculty who have created quizzes and assignments or who have assigned grades to discussions or other collaborative tools. Other topics discussed will be weighted grades, schemas and rubrics for grading.
