What is it? The Student Engagement Team is a group of appointed students who volunteer their time and skills to plan and execute leadership opportunities and promote development. The purpose of the Student Engagement Team is to facilitate campus involvement at UFV from a student perspective. Our assistance is available for faculty/staff and students.
Leadership Professional Development Opportunity!
Four positions come available each March. The 2014 team has been filled so watch for position postings in 2015.
Engagement Team Responsibilities
- Commit to an Engagement Board position for the Winter and Fall 2014 semesters
- Attend weekly meetings
- Help plan and implement the annual student leadership retreat
- Become knowledgeable about initiatives and services on campus to help connect students to the appropriate resources
- Hold Office Hours
