In 2006 after signing a memorandum of understanding with Punjab University, the University of the Fraser Valley set up a small facility in the renowned GGSD College in Chandigarh, India. Since 2006, UFV India has grown significantly, both in terms of student enrolment, infrastructure expansion, and program offerings. Dozens of Indian students have come from the Chandigarh campus to study and finish their degree on UFV’s Canadian campuses.
UFV International serves close to 1,000 international students every year at UFV by providing a broad range of multilingual support services, including airport pickup, housing information, medical insurance, academic advising, social activities, study abroad opportunities, and more.
UFV partners with institutions abroad in Eastern and Central Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East. These partnerships open the door to opportunities such as student or faculty exchanges, study tours, and faculty research collaboration.
