Upgrading at UFV

If you do not have the right high school courses or need to raise your grades to enter a university program, you may need to look into upgrading options.

UFV offers Adult Basic Education (ABE) courses also known as Adult Upgrading.

Through UFV Upgrading you can:

  • Upgrade basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Complete high school to earn a B.C. Adult Graduation Diploma
  • Meet employment requirements, or complete prerequisite courses for a post-secondary program

Upgrading courses are offered on the Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Hope, and Missions campuses. Courses offered include English, Math, Biology, Chemistry, Computing, and Physics.

For more information, contact Upgrading and University Preparation.

If UFV does not offer what you are looking for, please review other upgrading options.
