Randy Bartsch is the Chief Executive Officer of Ecotex Healthcare Service Group. Ecotex provides contract laundry and linen services including uniforms and reusable surgical textiles to acute care hospitals, care facilities and medical clinics. He has been involved with the family business since 1978 and was pivotal in altering the company's focus toward the healthcare sector in the early 80s.Within his first five years, he spotted the opportunity to transform the family company, Act One Uniform Rentals, which provided clean, fresh work wear and apparel to employees of gas stations, auto repair shops and supermarkets, into the modern day healthcare linen company that is Ecotex. Now at the helm, Mr. Bartsch has grown the family business into a multi-million dollar company, and has expanded operations into the United States. Mr. Bartsch is also very involved in the world of sports, having himself competed on the World Cup Freestyle Ski circuit in the 1970s and 1980s. During the Vancouver 2010 Olympics he served on the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association's board of directors. He is also a board member of the BC Cancer Foundation. Mr. Bartsch holds an Executive Education Certificate in General Management from the University of British Columbia.
