How to get a Campus Card

Students
Winter semester card issuance starts January 2, 2024.
Register and be accepted in at least one course in the current semester.
Not sure what to study? Find your program.

Employees
Ensure all your forms have been submitted to Human Resources.
If you require door access, ask your supervisor/dept. head to authorize the Key Request Form‌.

Ensure UFV has your correct legal name on file

Your legal name in UFV's records must match the government-issued photo ID presented to the Campus Card office. If you have more than one legal last name, such as your birth and a married surname, you must select one name for UFV's records and present a valid government-issued photo ID with the chosen name displayed.

For assistance changing your student or employee record:

Students complete the Student Name Change Form and visit the Office of the Registrar. 

Employees complete the Employee Name Change Form and visit the Human Resources office.

Make sure your address is up-to-date

Students
Log-in to myUFV and update your address.
Once you've logged-in select > Personnal Information > Update Address and Phone.

Employees
Complete the Employee Change of Address Form.
Send the completed form to Human Resources to change your address on file.

Have your UFV ID number ready

Your nine-digit ID number is your unique identifier at UFV. 

Students your ID number was assigned to you when you first applied to UFV.

Employees your ID number was assigned to you by Human Resources.

Provide valid government issued photo ID

Bring one piece of government-issued photo ID with you: a driver's licence, passport, BC ID card, BC Services card, Status card, Permanent Resident card, or Nexus card. 

If you need to obtain government-issued photo ID visit your local ICBC Licensing office for a BC ID card or a BC Services card (formerly the medical services card).

Visit the Campus Card office

Are you good to go?

  • No appointment needed!
  • Photo ID schedule
  • Bring your UFV ID number and one piece of government-issued photo ID.
  • Make sure it's a good hair day!
  • Practice your smile - we'll take your picture.
  • Your new Campus Card will be printed right away. 
  • Load your card with Cascade Cash or a meal plan.
  • Go ahead and use your card.
