Campus Card

How to get a campus card

Your campus card is your ticket to a variety of services. It is your University ID, library card, Cascade Cash and meal plan. It even gives you access to print and photocopy services, the Student Activity Centre, U-Pass benefits, and the campus shuttle between Chilliwack, Abbotsford and Langley.

1

Register and be accepted in at least one course in the current semester

Not sure what to study? Find your program.

2

Ensure UFV has your correct legal name on file

If your name has been legally changed, contact Student Records to submit a name change form.

3

Make sure your address is up-to-date

Address changes can be submitted through myUFV or by completing a Student Address Change form (pdf) and submitting it, with a signature, to one of the OReg offices.

4

Have your student number ready

Your nine-digit student ID number is your unique identifier at UFV. A student ID number was assigned to you when you first applied to UFV.

5

Provide valid government issued photo ID

Approved Government Issued ID include:

  • Drivers's license
  • BC ID
  • BC Services card
  • Status card
  • Permanent Residency card
  • Nexus card
  • Passport

Temporary license papers issued by ICBC are not accepted forms of ID. When you receive your license, please visit the Campus Card office.

Students who have recently graduated from high school, within one year, and do not have any form of government issued photo ID may use their high school ID card as valid identification.

If you need to obtain government issued ID visit your local ICBC Licensing office for a BC ID card or a BC Services card.

6

Visit the Campus Card office in the SUB (Student Union Building)

Bring your government issued ID during our open hours to S1101 on the Abbotsford campus. Your photo will be taken and you will receive your new Campus Card.
Campus Card services are also available at the Chilliwack Education Park campus in the library half-hour after opening until half-hour before closing.
Campus Card services are also available at the Hope Centre campus during regular office hours.
