The Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applicants for a one-year limited term faculty appointment (August 16, 2017 to August 15, 2018) to teach courses in mathematics, including MATH 105: Math for the Elementary School Teacher and possibly collaborating with another instructor to deliver MATH 123: Everyday Math and Stats, and to contribute to the development and delivery of departmental outreach initiatives. 


The successful applicant must have a minimum of an MSc in Math or Math Education, a successful record of teaching university-level math courses (preferably including MATH 105 or an equivalent course).  The successful applicant must also have experience in planning, administering, and/or leading math-related outreach and enrichment activities involving students and teachers at the elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels.
