The Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applicants for a one-year limited term faculty appointment (September 1, 2017 to August 31, 2018) to teach courses in statistics, possibly collaborating with another instructor to deliver MATH 123: Everyday Math and Stats, and to contribute to the development and delivery of departmental outreach initiatives.
The successful applicant must have a minimum of an MSc in Statistics or a related discipline, a successful record of teaching university-level statistics courses which require the use of Minitab statistical software, and experience in planning, administering, and/or leading math-related outreach and enrichment activities involving students and teachers at the elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels.
