The Services Provider is responsible for developing and implementing effective procedures for the processing and distribution of mail. In addition, the Services Provider supports the Logistics department with MS Office Access databases for the Shipping/Receiving, Warehousing, and File Storage records management. The Services Provider works closely to maintain good relationships with faculty, staff, students and outside contacts. Other responsibilities include opening and closing of work orders (Azzier); preparation of outgoing Canada Post mail for Abbotsford, Chilliwack and Mission for BC Mail Plus; Canada Post electronic shipping tools (EST) for personalized mail; tracking designated outgoing mail for charge-back as required; preparing monthly statistical piece count reports of internal and external mail; maintaining a database of incoming and outgoing Assessment Services exams; resolving mail related problems for faculty and staff. The Services Provider will also provide relief for Shipping/Receiving and Material Handlers as required.
Completion of a recognized certificate in office administration from a recognized post-secondary institution. Minimum two (2) years’ related experience. Additional training in database management and equipment operations is required.
