New Student Orientation

New to the U? Get to know UFV at New Student Orientation (NSO). 

NSO is your opportunity to connect with other UFV students, get to know our campuses and resources, and get ready to start classes with confidence. Whether you’ve just graduated from high school, you’re starting university for the first time, or you’re returning after some time away, NSO is for you!

Online NSO

 Are you a domestic student who will be starting at UFV in September 2017? Did you miss NSO Part 1, Start Your Journey? Do you need a refresher?

UFV's Online NSO will help you start your journey off on the right foot. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Log into Blackboard Learn, UFV's online course platform, using your myUFV username and password.
  2. Look for Online_NSO: 2017 New Student Orientation under "My Courses" at the top right corner of your dashboard.
  3. Complete the first module before your registration date.

You will have to activate your myUFV account before you can access the Online NSO. This video explains how to activate your myUFV account. If you need help, please complete this form and we'll get back to you ASAP.
