Figuring out how you will pay for education is vital for all students. The process can be confusing due to the large number of programs available for students dealing with a disability. The Disability Resource Centre helps by providing information regarding funding options and procedures for applying.

Knowing which funding programs are best for you depends on your individual needs. Students should make an appointment with a Disability Advisor to discuss their individual needs for the academic year.  You can also consult the StudentAid BC website https://studentaidbc.ca/
.

If you have any questions concerning funding programs available, please contact the Disability Resource Centre or UFV Financial Aid and Awards.

 Scholarships

Scholarships are often overlooked as a method of assistance for students with   disabilities. There are numerous scholarships available with a wide-range of criterion for applying. Some excellent websites that provide valuable listings of scholarships are:

Students are reminded to book your quizzes and midterms with the Disability Resource Centre at least one week in advance of the scheduled writing date. For final exams, the deadline for submitting your booking request would be November 26, 2014 due to the high volume of bookings requested for finals.
