Ways to Register
You may register in person at the Registration Day or a friend may do so on your behalf. Attendees to this event may register themselves and one other person. Our volunteers can stand in line on behalf of those with mobility challenges. You may also register by mail using the form on this brochure; however, registrations received before the Registration Day Open House will be processed on the following day. Placement is secured by payment. After registration day, registration continues at the office or by mail until courses begin.
You must be a member of ElderCollege to take a course. Membership costs $12 for one year and expires on December 31. You may pay for your membership and registration fees at the same time.
If you cannot be accommodated because a course is full, you may have your name included on a waitlist. You do not have to be an ElderCollege member to be on a waitlist and the registration fee is payable only after confirmation of a place in the course. The list is effective for the current semester only and does on carry forward to future semesters.
We will issue a refund for course fees if a member withdraws from a course prior to the first class, less a $5 administration fee per course. Prepaid expenses such as admittance fees will only be reimbursed if a replacement for your spot is available. If a course or trip is cancelled, full refunds will be issued. Membership fees are non-refundable
Fees are payable by cheque or cash. Our goal at ElderCollege is to be self-sustaining and we plan for cost recovery in our fee structure.
All activities of ElderCollege Chilliwack will be carried out in accordance with the policies of the Personal Information Protection Act. Click here if you wish to read about this Act.
