Randy Huber Memorial Scholarship in Fashion Design
Randy Huber Memorial Scholarship in Fashion Design - In memory of Randolph (Randy) Huber. An alumnus of the UFV Fashion Design program who was an exceptional technician in the B.C. apparel industry and inspirational fashion designer.
Available to: A student who has successfully completed the first year of the UFV Fashion Design program as a full-time (five course load) student and who is continuing on to 2nd year full-time - (five course load) studies in Fashion at UFV

Deadline: May 10.
Criteria: Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant. The recipient of this award must be a first year - (five course load) UFV Fashion Design student continuing on to 2nd year full-time studies in Fashion at UFV. The successful applicant must combine high academic standards with personal integrity, demonstrate strong commitment towards the fashion program and express compassion for their peers.
Stipulations: Applicants must submit a general UFV Scholarship/Award application form. This will include a letter outlining their career and educational goals.
Selection Procedure: The recipient of the award will be selected upon recommendation of the Fashion Design department.
Abbotsford Quilters Guild Award
Amount: $500 (one available)
Available to: A UFV student enrolled in the Fashion Design program pursuing courses in the Textiles Option and registered in a minimum of 3 courses. Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant.

Note: Applications will be accepted and processed on a continuous basis.
Fall Applications: Accepted between September 15 to November 30.
Winter Applications: Accepted between January 15 to March 31.
Summer Applications: Accepted between May 15 to June 30.
Bursary funds are limited and may be exhausted before the semester deadline. Apply early.
Criteria: The recipient of this award must be registered in a Fashion Design - Textile option course during the Fall semester and be returning for the Winter semester. The successful applicant will have attained a B grade or better in the textile option course and three other fashion courses. Student must also demonstrate financial need.
Stipulations: Applicant must submit a general UFV Bursary Application form. This will include a letter outlining their career and educational goals, as well as an explanation on how the award will assist the attainment of these goals.
Monague Native Crafts Ltd. Endowment Scholarship
Amount: Approx. $250 (one available)
Available to: Level 1 - first consideration to First Nations students in Business Administration programs.
Level 2 - First Nations students in:
- Computer Information Systems diploma or degree (this program has a strong business orientation)
- Fashion Design
- Graphic Design
- Visual Arts
- Library and Information Technology
Level 3 - If there are no suitable applicants meeting level 1 and 2, First Nations students in any other Bachelor's degree program.

Stipulations: Student must have an above-average academic record. Preference will be given to applicants entering the final year of their program. Applications should include a statement of recent academic standing and a letter of reference with a specific mention of the applicants interest and/or involvement in some form of entrepreneurial activity. Applications should also include a brief statement from the applicant setting out his/her goals.
