Fashion Design programs at UFV
UFV Fashion Design two-year diploma has now been discontinued as of April 9, 2015. The UFV Fashion program is currently undergoing a review.
Current Fashion Design students are not affected. The Fashion Design department will continue to offer every course they need to earn their diploma.
Fashion design courses will also be available as electives to students interested in learning more about the world of fashion and wishing to learn marketable skills to diversify their employment opportunities.
Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree
The BFA offers a minor/ extended minor in Fashion, where students can combine a primary focus in fashion with other fine arts and communications skills to diversify their career opportunities.
BFA students may declare a Fashion minor or extended minor, but should consider the fact that UFV will not offer a wide range of Fashion Design courses in the near future, as a result of the suspension of the Fashion Design diploma. However, credits previously earned or transfer credits can be applied to complete these programs.
