HOLLISTER SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ENDOWMENT ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP ( Mission Secondary and Hatzic Secondary) - Donated by Victor and Hilda Hollister
AMOUNT: 2 @ $1,000 (from Mission Foundation) and a tuition award for one year (from UFV)
AVAILABLE TO: A student graduating from Mission Secondary and Hatzic Secondary who has been accepted into a full-time academic science or technology program at UFV.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
- Students will apply in writing at their respective high schools.
- Applicants will submit a letter outlining their education and career goals and a statement of academic achievement from their school
- Applications will be forwarded from each high school to the Mission Foundation.
- The recipient will be chosen by the Mission Foundation Awards Selection Committee
- The awards will be presented at the appropriate annual school district event.
CRITERIA: - An outstanding student with a high grade point average
- The student will have been accepted into a full-time academic science or technology program at UFV
