Are you facing food insecurity?
If you say yes to one or more of these statements, you might be facing food insecurity and could consider accessing supports:
- I worried my food would run out before I got money to buy more.
- I ran out of food and couldn't buy more because I didn't have money and/or time.
- I couldn't afford to eat balanced or nutritious meals because I didn't have money and/or time.
- I cut the size of my meals, skipped meals, or went hungry because I didn't have money and/or time.
- I’m stretching my funds to afford food and worrying if I’ll have enough.

Guidelines for using UFV's Food Bank
Who can access the food bank?
- UFV students enrolled in at least one course in the current semester.
- We ask that you use the UFV-SUS Food Bank only if you are worried about getting enough to eat.
How often can I use the food bank?
- You can request a food hamper a maximum of 4 times per semester.
- The UFV-SUS Food Bank aims to supplement food for those experiencing food insecurity. If you need additional support, please explore the community resources listed below.
