myUFV is showing errors while attempting to render channels in some accounts. IT Services is aware of the issue and is actively looking for the issue. There is no timeline for resolution at this time.
Banner Self-Service temporarily unavailable from Wireless - August 11, 2015

Network Issues At Clearbrook, Areospace and Mission Campuses - July 30, 2015 (8:50 am)

As of 3:30 am Thursday July 30th, Clearbrook, Areospace and Mission campuses have limited network, internet and VOIP phone services as we are experiencing connectivity errors across the network to these locations and over the VPN connection back to Abbotsford. Network operations with both BCNet and PLN have been notified and are working on a resolution. An update will be provided once we receive more information or the status of the incident changes.
Update: Clearbrook and Aerospace campuses network issues are resolved as of 2:50 PM. IT Services is still working on restoring Mission campus connectivity.

IP Phone Maintenance - July 9, 2015 ( 7:00 AM - 7:20 AM)
Emergency service is required on the telecommunications equipment located on the Abbotsford campus. This will affect all IP based phones that connect to the network in Abbotsford. Analog phone lines are not affected by this outage. The telecommunications equipment will be down for a period of 20 minutes from 7:00am – 7:20am on Thursday July 09.

The student email system is currently down due to a server issue. IT Services is working on the problem. There is currently no estimated time of resolution, however updates will be posted to the IT Status alerts as soon as available.
myUFV is experiencing technical issues loading some courses - June 18, 2015

myUFV is reporting an error loading some courses in the My Courses channel.
If you receive this error, please note that there is no course material in this course and to contact your instructor if you are expecting to see course content.
We hope to have this error rectified late this afternoon after online registration for today closes.
This will require myUFV be restarted between 5 and 5:30 this afternoon and will be unavailable at this time.

There is an internet issue at Chilliwack 5 Corners campus causing intermittent internet connection problems. This may also cause some problems for external telephone calls and some inter-campus calls. IT Services is aware of the issue and working to resolve it as soon as possible. There is currently no estimated time of resolution. This alert will be updated as soon as new information is available.

UFV is currently experiencing problems reaching some internet sites. A trouble ticket has been submitted to BCNet who have identified a case related to older routing information from PLNet. BCNet support is in contact with PLNet to resolve the issue. There is no estimated time of resolution, but this notice will be updated immediately when the problem is resolved.
