These instructions are intended for students, faculty, and staff that have current, valid UFV credentials. If UFV is not your home university, please seek instruction from IT help services at your own institution.

Download the installer

Visit the eduroam website to download the installer.

Click the banner to start the download.

Select University of the Fraser Valley from the list

Click the Select your institution dropdown.

Select University of the Fraser Valley from the list.

Select your operating system and download installer

 Choose Apple iOS mobile devices from the list.

Click Download installer for Apple iOS mobile devices to confirm your selection

Run the eduroam installer

Select Install to install the eduroam profile.

Select Install now to confirm and install the Root Certificate

‌‌

Enter your iPhone passcode

If you have a passcode/passlock set on your iPhone, you will be prompted to enter it. If you do not, skip this step.

Enter your username and password

eduroam requires a different username format than your other UFV credentials, but it does use the same password.

Your eduroam username combines two elements:

Students

Use your student number + @ufv.ca (e.g. 300012345@ufv.ca) and the same password as you use with myUFV, myFiles, Blackboard, etc.

Employees

Use your network username + @ufv.ca (e.g. jonesw@ufv.ca) and the same password you use to log in to the UFV network

‌Enter your username and click Next.

Enter your password and click Next.

Select done to complete

The profile should now be successfully installed. Select Done to complete.
