Certificate in Extended Studies in Arts: French Minor

Program Information

The Extended Studies Certificate is designed for students who have baccalaureate degrees, who wish to complete the equivalent of a minor in French.

Students will be required to complete all courses listed for the Certificate in Extended Studies in Arts: Minor in French. If required courses have been completed within the first Bachelor’s degree or post-baccalaureate credit, then the student need only complete the outstanding course requirements, with the following proviso: students who have had little or no contact with the chosen language since completing their last course in that language may find that their skills have diminished. They may have to repeat a course or courses for which they already have credit. Students will be placed at their appropriate language level upon assessment by the department.
