Program Working Groups
Program Working Groups are responsible for new programs at UFV. The composition of a Program Working Group (PWG) needs to be approved by a Dean (or Deans, in the case of cross faculty groups) before it submits proposals to any approval body.
For undergraduate programs, a PWG must consist of a minimum of three faculty with teaching or research expertise in the subject area. If a new program is entirely discipline-based, at least one additional member from another discipline with teaching or research expertise in the subject area or related area should be added.
For graduate programs, the approval of the Associate Vice-President, Research, Engagement, and Graduate Studies is also required. Please read the detailed guidelines below for more information.
