Safe Student Community

Student Support

We are here to support you.

All UFV students deserve to seek support and be supported. This includes both a student brining forward a complaint (Complainant) and those students (Respondents) who have been named in an allegation of non-academic misconduct.

Allegations of non-academic misconduct can be a challenging experience for all parties involved. Student Support Coordinators are there to:

  • connect you to supportive services
  • explain the non-academic misconduct process
  • help you understand your rights
  • help you make a report
  • answer any questions you may have

To find out more about the work of Student Support Coordinators, or to contact them, check out the website.

Accessibility

Recognizing that some folks may have had more negative experiences with conduct-like processes, we hope to make our approach as accessible as possible.

Inform your Student Support Coordinator if you have any accessibility needs for this process. We are happy to include our campus partners from the Centre for Accessibility Services and the Indigenous Student Centre to ensure you can participate in this process in a safer and accessible way.
