Summer Camp Prices (subject to change)

Early bird cost for one-week camp is $425. (Early Bird Rate available until April 30, 2025)

The cost of our one-week camp is $450. Lunch and a camp t-shirt are included with camp fees.
Discounts for multiple camps apply for a single camper attending multiple weeks or siblings attending the camps.

Please note: short weeks are discounted.

Cancellations/Refund Policy:

All refund requests are subject to a $15 administration fee.

Written notice received prior to 14 days (or more) before the start of camp will be eligible for a refund, minus the administration fee. If the refund is being requested 13 days to 7 days before the first day of camp, a 50% refund will be issued, minus the administrative fee. If the refund is being requested in writing 6 days before camps starts, no refunds will be issued.

If the refund request is due to a medical reason a doctor’s note may be required for a refund request.

Requests for refunds can be sent to sciencerocks@ufv.ca. UFV reserves the right to cancel any event or program for any reason; in this case, a full refund will be issued with no administration charge. Cancellations will be communicated via email and refunds will be processed.

Group Policy

Our programming is designed and intended for individual families. Having a group (local or visiting) register for our programming greatly impacts the quality of the individual camper’s experience; something that is extremely important to us. Please note that we will withdraw all campers without a refund who are found in breach of our group registration policy at any point before or after programming begins.

Student-leader ratios

26 campers/week and 3 leaders per camp. In addition to the leader-facilitators, one or more UFV Science Faculty members will be on-site at all times.

Camp locations

The camps will be held on both Abbotsford and Chilliwack campuses and will be run both indoors and outside, dependent on weather and activity.

Abbotsford Campus: Get ready for fast-paced fun! Each day features activities exploring speed, power, forces, and yes—safe explosions! Boom, zoom, and let’s roll!

CAMP 3: Climate, Critters and Crystals!

Abbotsford Campus: Daily adventures await as we explore climate, wildlife, and the cool world of rocks and minerals! Hands-on nature fun is right around the corner!
