What is Parent Orientation?
UFV believes that parents, guardians and family members are valuable partners and coaches in their student’s academic journey. The UFV Parent Orientation event is designed to answer your questions and address any concerns about your student’s university experience. Furthermore, we will provide you with valuable information about campus departments, programs, and services which will make it easier for you to guide your student as well as encourage your student to seek assistance when needed.
Who is Parent Orientation for?
Please note that the UFV Parent Orientation Event is specifically designed for parents, guardians and family members of first-time UFV undergraduate students. The UFV Student Life department also hosts the New Student Orientation (NSO) event which is designed for new students. For more information about NSO, please click here.
