Work Opportunities

Our work opportunities offer you the chance to focus on your professional career development. Click to learn more about eligibility requirements, deadlines and how-to-apply.

Co-operative Education (Co-op) combines academic studies with relevant work experience. Academic semesters alternate with work terms, giving you up to two years of relevant work experience.

Work-Study helps you build your skills while you study. This program allows you to gain 120 hours of professional employment experience over the course of one semester in conjunction with your studies. Work-Study students are required to be enrolled in a minimum of nine UFV credits and hold and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Co-Curricular Record (CCR) is a recognized document, with verification by an official UFV staff/faculty, listing experiences in various developmental contributions during your time at UFV. It is an official record of your student engagement and student leadership involvement. A CCR recognizes your out-of-classroom leadership and volunteer roles.

Study Abroad allows you to gain distinct advantages in the classroom, in the workforce and your life. We encourage you to participate in order to develop a competitive and compassionate edge-up.
