Let Us Help You Succeed in Your Courses!
All of the ASC's tutoring support is offered online through Blackboard Collaborate. If you have used ASC online services before, the booking process will already be familiar to you. If you have not, ASC staff are available to help you every step of the way. Please use the link in the right-hand sidebar "Book an Appointment" to get started.
Our committment to you is to provide the academic support you need regardless of the outside circumstances that affect how we deliver that support. At this time, the best way to contact us for assistance is through our email firstname.lastname@example.org. We do appreciate your patience and flexibility as we will not be able to respond to phone calls or messages immediately.
Sincerely, all of the ASC Admin Staff and Tutors
The Academic Success Centre (ASC) offers FREE student-focused tutoring, workshops, online resources and support programs to develop students’ academic skills and knowledge. Peer tutors work with students on personal learning strategies and approaches, and provide writing and subject-area support under the supervision of the Learning Strategist and the Coordinator of the Academic Success Centre. The ASC has work spaces and resources at the Abbotsford campus in G126, and the Chilliwack (CEP) campus in A2416, as well as at our drop-in locations (see below).

Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (EDI)
The community of UFV has identified inclusivity as one of our core values. We welcome everyone and show consideration and respect for all experiences and ideas. In 2017, we, along with other Canadian universities, committed to implementing seven inclusive excellence principles to advance equity, diversity, and inclusion. These principles include a commitment to develop an action plan and to integrating equity, diversity, and inclusivity into all that we do.
