ASSOCIATE OF ARTS (General Option)

Program requirements
The Associate of Arts general option requires a minimum of 60 credits transferable to at least one of UBC, UNBC, UVic, or SFU, of which 15 must be taken at UCFV. No course will be used to meet more than one of the following specific requirements. Students must achieve an average overall grade of “C” (cumulative GPA of 2.0) calculated on all courses counting towards the associate degree.

English is a requirement of the Associate of Arts degree, but cannot be used to meet the Humanities requirements. Not all courses in each subject area have university-transfer credit. It is important to use the B.C. Transfer Guide (either the printed version, or online at www.bccat.bc.ca) to check that your course choice is transferable to at least one of UBC, UNBC, UVic, or SFU.
