Through its Social, Cultural, and Media Studies (SCMS) department, UFV offers a combined major in sociology/anthropology, a major in sociology, and a minor in sociology as part of its Bachelor of Arts program. Students cannot combine a sociology/anthropology major with a minor in sociology or anthropology. Extended studies in Arts certificates will allow graduates with a bachelor's degree from a recognized university to complete further work to meet the requirements of majors, extended minors, and minors offered by the Department of Social, Cultural and Media Studies.
