Religious Studies
UFV's Religious Studies courses enable students to investigate religion in an empathetic yet critical way. ANTH 130 (World Religions) introduces religion, while RLST 201 and 202 (Religions of the West, Religions of the East) use scripture and other materials to delve more deeply into the subject of religion. In addition to other RLST courses, GEOG 346 (Geography of Religion), IPK 401 (Indigenous Worldview and Spirituality), LAS 442/SOC 442 (Religion in Latin America), and PHIL 240 (Faith and Reason) also examine important aspects of religion.
