UFV offers a certificate and diploma in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor of Education, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Mentorship. The Early Childhood Education certificate is a four-semester program leading to provincial licensing as an early childhood educator. Students can continue into the Early Childhood Education diploma, which allows for specialization in special needs or infancy. The Bachelor of Education is designed for students who have already completed a four-year degree, and includes an Elementary/Middle School option and a Secondary School option. The Master of Education is a locally-developed graduate program designed to meet the career needs of certified K–12 teachers.
