Social Work and Human Services

The School of Social Work and Human Services offers education at several levels. The Master of Social Work degree focuses on social justice, anti-oppressive practice, and leadership and supervision, in the areas of children and families, health, or mental health. The Bachelor of Social Work degree prepares students for generalist social work practice, and can be obtained with a Child Welfare specialization. The Social Service Worker diploma prepares students for work at the para-professional level in the social services field, and is available with an Indigenous focus. The School and Community Support Worker certificate prepares students to work in a variety of roles with children and adults with diverse abilities.
