Current entrance requirements

Option 2: Students transitioning from a UFV agriculture certificate or diploma

Students transitioning from one of UFV's agriculture certificates or the Agriculture Technology diploma must satisfy the Agriculture Technology diploma's entrance requirements. Students may also need to complete the prerequisites for BIO 111 and either CHEM 110 or CHEM 113.

Future entrance requirements

Option 2: Students transitioning from a UFV agriculture certificate or diploma

Students transitioning from one of UFV's agriculture certificates or the Agriculture Technology diploma must satisfy the Agriculture Technology diploma's entrance requirements, as well as meeting the prerequisites for BIO 111, CHEM 110, and STAT 104.

Berry Production Essentials certificate

Current entrance requirements
  1. B.C. secondary school graduation or equivalent, or minimum 19 years of age before first day of class.
  2. Applicants must meet the Entry-level English language proficiency requirement. For details on how this requirement may be met, see the English language proficiency requirement section of the calendar.
  3. The Agriculture Technology department will also consider applicants if they can demonstrate that they have a reasonable chance for success. Applicants will be required to submit a portfolio and/or be interviewed. Some courses have prerequisites. Prospective students are encouraged to meet with the Agriculture Technology department before applying to the program. 
Future entrance requirements
  1. B.C. secondary school graduation or equivalent.
  2. One of the following Mathematics classes:
    • Foundations of Mathematics 11
    • Precalculus 11
    • Apprenticeship and Workplace Mathematics 11
    • The formerly-offered Principles of Mathematics 11, Applications of Mathematics 11, or Essentials of Mathematics 11
