The work done by the student will be connected directly to his or her academic studies in a particular discipline in the Arts. Students will be evaluated by means of structured reflective assignments, journals, discussions, and other mechanisms set out by the supervising Arts faculty member. Students will be encouraged to develop their own community placements with support from the course instructor and UFV’s Career Centre Internship Coordinator, who will implement and provide support to structure the service learning placement.
