Campus Card

Protection of privacy

In order to produce a Campus Card and to confirm your identity as a University of the Fraser Valley (“UFV”) community member, your photograph will be taken and will be combined with your name and student/employee number.

The personal information collected to produce the Campus Card is collected under the authority of the University Act, and in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). The information will be used by UFV for the administration of the Campus Card program and for the related purpose of administering or implementing academic and non-academic services and programs. All photographs used for the Campus Card may be used by UFV faculties, staff and authorized service providers to identify you as a UFV community member. External parties are not provided access to personal or account information unless authorized by law. Except as otherwise set out above, photos of an individual will only be released to the individual that appears in the photo.
