Self-defence Workshop

National Training Centre’s Self-Defence Workshop is based off our year-round program which provides complete self-defence training. The self-defence skills include ground defence, striking defence, escape from grabs, tactics and psychological aspects of safety and health.

Their program name is ‘Self-Defence Kickboxing‘, though in truth it is a mixture of concepts and skills gleaned from several martial arts and fighting systems (Defendo, Russian Systema, Western Kickboxing, Hapkido, Jui Jitsu, military and police research…) in order to provide the best and most effective training. The wonderful side effects of learning these skills are a courageous spirit, a calming of aggression and impulsivity, healing through movement and a joy of discovering what our minds and bodies are capable of. This workshop is your first line of defence where you will discover how capable you are and how to put what you have to effective use for your own self-protection.

Dates: November 15, 2024
Times: 6:00-8:00 pm
Location: North Gym - Abbotsford Campus E105
