Teaching and Learning Specialist (Indigenization)

I started as a student in the early 1990s, and always knew that I wanted to work at UFV when I was done my graduate degree. I wanted to give back to Indigenous peoples and the greater community, and UFV is a great place to support that.

In my role as a Teaching and Learning specialist for Indigenization, I work with faculty and staff who want to make a difference for Indigenous people, community and students. Seeing the transformation that folks go through in their own work of decolonization, indigenization, and reconciliation is exceptionally rewarding.
