The Communications Department requires sessional faculty for Fall 2019 and ongoing to teach a variety of applied courses in professional communications including sections of CMNS 125 Introduction to Workplace Communications and CMNS 251 Professional Report Writing; and depending on qualifications, lower level courses in public speaking, or critical analysis and study methods.
Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Communications (with an applied writing focus), English (writing or rhetoric focus), or in a closely related discipline. At least one year demonstrated successful experience teaching at the post-secondary level in professional communications (two years preferred); professional communications related industry experience is preferred. Must be available to teach on all campuses, attend orientation and ongoing training meetings.
