The Community Health and Social Innovation (CHASI) Hub is proud to be UFV’s Changemaking Hub — a role that sees CHASI spearheading a university-wide effort to address contemporary challenges and shape a more equitable future for our students, employees, and communities.

Guided by the principles of empowerment, decolonization and Indigenization, sustainability, and reciprocity, changemaking at UFV encompasses a wide array of projects, initiatives, and solutions to challenges of all sizes.

CHASI’s director, Dr. Martha Dow, has the privilege of also serving as the Senior Advisor, Changemaking, to UFV’s Office of the Provost and Vice-President Academic. This role allows her to bring her decades of experience at UFV and the collected efforts of CHASI’s team of students, faculty, and professionals together to support the many moving pieces of changemaking at UFV.
