Biography

Leon Pan is an Associate Professor with a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Regina, and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tianjin University. With 17 years of teaching experience—4 years at PUC and 13 years at UFV—Leon also brings 12 years of industry experience as a senior programmer.

His research focuses on two key areas: computer network security and the development of innovative, agile-based teaching methodologies designed to enhance computer science education. Leon has published 7 journal papers and 9 conference papers, contributing to the development of cutting-edge teaching practices and solutions in his field. He is passionate about using his industry experience to foster learning environments that blend theory with practical, real-world applications.
