Discover Your UFV

Welcome to Discover Your UFV online!

Discover Your UFV (DYU) online was created for anyone starting their journey as a new student at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV). Whether you are preparing yourself for a career, or finishing your degree, we want to be here with you every step of the way. DYU is one of the events in UFV's New Student Orientation (NSO) series.

A special message from President and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Joanne MacLean

To all students participating in Discover Your UFV (DYU): Welcome to your community, and welcome to your future.
—Dr. Joanne MacLean

UFV is located on the unceded traditional territory of the Stó:lō peoples, where Halq’améylem is spoken. The Halq’améylem word given to us for New Student Orientation (NSO) is Tl’etl’axel, which means "to invite people to gather in one community."
