The Global Development Studies Student Group holds events for UFV students with an interest in local and international development. The group holds events aimed to incorporate socializing with intellectual discussion, along with networking.
The student-run group hosts themed movie nights, discussion groups, and volunteer opportunities for UFV students. All students, regardless of study discipline, are welcome to attend.
The group aims to grow as the Global Development Studies program expands and as development (in all of its triumphs and challenges) becomes more relevant to our everyday lives in a globalized world.
