On 85 acres of land at the Canada Education Park in Chilliwack, UFV has a modern facility, featuring a striking atrium, state-of-the-art science and computer labs, a fully equipped dental clinic, nursing stations, a library, a bookstore, a cafeteria, a black box theater, a kinesiology lab that includes an EEG lab, environmental chamber, and teaching lab and a First Nations gathering place.
The building also sports stunningly large classrooms with open-source geo-exchange, solar thermal and light harvesting. In fact, the building has earned LEED Gold certification for green building design, construction, and sustainability.
