What is myUFV?

myUFV is a portal where you can access UFV student web services such as:

  • Personal Information
  • Registration
  • Your academic record
  • myClass (Blackboard)
  • Courses and class schedule
  • Student billing and account
  • myGRADplan
  • Student email and OneDrive
  • Campus announcements

Click on the hamburger icon Button to expand the navigation bar located next to the myUFV logo to open the side panel. You can click on various options to explore specific information - Academics/Student, Community, My Account, etc. You can also access UFV homepage, Blackboard (myClass) and UFV social media accounts through this side panel.

myUFV is a card-based platform, easy to use, and mobile friendly. It uses Single Sign-On (SSO), allowing users to log in using their UFV email address and password, thus allowing access to other services without logging in again. The personalized dashboard allows you to customize your views so you can view the information that is important to you.

  • Rearrange cards however you like. 

Note: Cards with the lock  icon are locked, and cannot be rearranged or removed from the home page.

  • Bookmark important cards to view information that is important to you.
  • Create a To-Do list using the To-Do List Card.

Click on the Discover option in the side panel to explore more services offered at UFV:

  • Student Services (Accessibility services, Counselling, Academic Success Centre, etc.)
  • Campus Bookstore
  • Campus Card
  • CareerLink

You can also click on the DISCOVER MORE button located at the bottom of the myUFV portal home page.

How do I access myUFV portal to see student information?

Browse to myufv.ca and login to your student portal using your UFV student email address (firstname.lastname@student.ufv.ca) and password.

 

How do I log into myUFV for the first time?

Follow 3 steps:

  1. Log on to your UFV email.
  2. Register for multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  3. Visit myufv.ca and log on using your UFV email address and password.

 

How do I reset my password?

You can reset your password in two ways: 

 

Resetting password using Microsoft SSPR Portal: 

You must be enrolled for Microsoft Self-Service Password Reset before you can use the steps to reset password provided below. Follow the steps in this article to enroll in Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR). 

  1. To reset your password, go to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/ in your web browser. 
  2. Enter your full UFV email address in the User ID field, complete the Captcha if required, and click Next
  3. Based on the authentication method(s) you chose when you enrolled, you will have the option to choose your verification. Click the button next to the method you want to use. 
  4. After completing your verification steps, enter your new password and enter it again to confirm. 
  5. Click Finish to complete the process.

Resetting password using UFV self-service password reset site: 

To reset the password using password.ufv.ca, you need a personal email address on file. If you do not have one added or don't remember the personal email added, you will need to contact the Office of the Registrar to have it updated/ added. 

  1. To reset your password, go to password.ufv.ca
  2. Enter your student number and click Next. This will take you to a new webpage; do not close your browser at this step. An email containing a security code will be sent to the personal email address you have registered with the University of the Fraser Valley. 
  3. Use this security code to reset your password on the open browser page and click Next
  4. You should now see a message stating that your password was reset.
