Information Technology Services

Information Technology Services provides computing and communication services, systems, support and guidance to UFV students, faculty and staff.

IT Security

We take care of the day-to-day management of UFV cybersecurity, such as monitoring for threats and ensuring our security policies are well maintained.

Audio Visual Services

Our Audio Visual team provides consultation, recommendations, technical support, maintenance and installation for AV equipment across all UFV campuses.

Business Transformation Office

We facilitate, coordinate, and collaborate in cross-functional business improvement initiatives by providing project management and business analysis expertise.

Darin Lee

As the Chief Information Officer at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), Darin Lee brings extensive university experience leading enterprise-level information system initiatives and aligning strategic organizational goals with innovative technology-based solutions. ‌‌


‌‌In his role, Lee is responsible for fostering the university’s reputation and heads up key areas, including:

Darin holds a Masters of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, a Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Allison University, has completed the Application and Management of Information Technology (AMIT) program, and Masters Certificate for Business Analysts from University of Victoria.  He is also a Change Management Certified Professional through ProSci Methodology. Lee is an exceptional communicator with a strong reputation for building collaborative relationships bridging both academic and administrative business units.
