All UFV departments and services are invited to host an interactive information table at the afternoon Services Fair out on the Abbotsford campus green.

Student Clubs, Associations, & Societies

All student groups are invited to represent their group by hosting a game, activity, or table at the afternoon Services Fair at various locations around the Abbotsford campus.

How to plan and host an event for Welcome Weeks 

UFV Student Clubs & Associations, and Faculty or Staff groups: Are you planning an informational or engagement event for new or continuing UFV students? Promote your event through Welcome Weeks.

 

  1. Plan your fun event to take place either online or in-person (following current UFV and provincial health guidelines)
  1. Set up your virtual space (on a platform like zoom, social media etc), or book your in-person space.
  1. Complete the UFV Student Organization Event Application form (Clubs & Associations only).
  1. Post your event on the UFV events calendar, and write "welcome weeks" in the suggested tag category.
  1. Use your own channels to promote your event to new and current students all over UFV.
  1. Send the join information out to your participants.
