How to apply

Prepare your documents

As part of your application you will need to submit a résumé, official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions you have attended, and three letters of reference.

Résumé

Submit a résumé in PDF or Word format, outlining your education and professional experience. Include your contact information. Clearly label the file with your name for easy reference.

Official transcripts

Have an official transcript sent directly from all post secondary institutions you have attended to:

Letters of reference

Arrange for three references to fill out the Admission Reference form and to email it directly to admissions@ufv.ca. At least one  must be from an academic, and at least one must be from someone who can speak to your work experience.

Apply online

Complete and submit UFV online application for Graduate Studies by the deadline. A $75 (CDN) application fee applies for domestic students; $250 (CDN) for international students.

Register for courses

UFV Admissions will notify you of an admission decision and provide you with a student ID number and information on how to access myUFV, UFV's student services portal, in order to register for courses. 

In cases where interim transcripts are submitted, an admission decision may be made conditional upon completion of academic requirements. Proof of completion of entrance requirements is due by the end August.

Registration deposit for domestic students

Before domestic students can register, they must submit a $200 registration deposit. This money will be applied toward tuition fees. Final payment of all course fees is due the end of the second week of classes. Learn how to pay.
