Dr. van de Wetering's teaching interests include: social psychology, history of psychology, political psychology, environmental psychology, psychology of language, evolutionary psychology, cultural psychology, and social cognition.

Dr. van de Wetering's research interests include conservation psychology, lay conceptions of evil, and the relationships between personality variables and political attitudes.
