Safety and Security

OK2Say

If you see something that doesn't seem right, it's "OK2SAY" something

UFV's Safety & Security department not only responds to emergencies on campus but we also work hard to prevent them, and you can help.

The OK2Say program is intended to improve safety on campus by encouraging everyone to speak up when you see something out of the ordinary. By saying something you can improve safety on campus. Any number of small things may be indicators that a situation could lead to an incident or hazard. Trust yourself.

If you see something that seems out of the ordinary, say something to Security.

Reporting is kept confidential.

Remember
  • Call in as soon as you see something. Leaving it until later could mean it's too late to do anything about it.
